Woman Learns Home Was Scene Of Murder, Torture

Ghost Pic

I was on Facebook today and seen one of my friends shared a link to a story where a woman from St. Louis, Missouri learned that her home used to belong to a serial killer. The woman called her landlord to get out of the lease and the landlord told her that she had to stay until the lease was up. It just so happens that her landlord is actually the serial killer’s mother.

In the interview, the woman said that when she confronted her landlord about her not knowing about the murders that happened in the house, her landlord said she did tell her about the murders. The woman said she would have remembered the murders in the basement part.
.
The woman said that it just kept getting weirder. A 2 year old relative that was playing by the pole in the basement where the killer tied up his victims told the woman “She scared and crying” but no one was there. It was as if the 2 year old seen a woman bound to the pole.
.
The reporter spoke with a realtor from Keller Williams Realty and she said that it is not required to disclose murders but she would tell buyers if a house had a dark past. As a realtor, the only things you have to disclose is leaky roof, termites, cracked foundation, etc. Murders, suicides, and ghosts are not considered material facts ,therefore, you are not required to disclose it. I feel the same way that realtor does. I would also tell a buyer just so there is no confusion at the end of the day.
.
The woman has Section 8 and they made it possible for her to move out. She will be moving out by the end of the month. To see a video of the story and of the investigation of the serial killer. Click the links below:
